INCENTIVES FOR ARTISTS
Toledo's Artist Network
The Arts Commission of Greater Toledo maintains a strong
commitment to supporting the needs of local artists, facilitating gallery
openings, quarterly Meet and Greets for artists, and participation in local
festivals, helping to coordinate such events as the Jazz Loop. In September 2006, ACGT coordinated the first
Artomatic 419, a non-juried arts festival featuring the work of over 100
artists and combining the talents of performing and visual artists for an
entire month. The festival attracted
over 5000 people and relied on the volunteer efforts of community artists who
made a priority to adapt an underutilized building in
